Hello.  You may have, at one point in your life, wondered who this great Spak guy was.  Well, it is I, Spak_Lord~SoC~.  The name originated from my childhood.  I have an older brother who is about 8 years older than me, and we used to play G.I. Joes when we were children.  One of his favorite phrases was:  "Oh man, did you get spakked!".  This meant that you got shot, smacked, kicked, punched, pummled, etc. etc...  Well, one day, I was playing Diablo, and I needed a name.  I couldn't think of anything, so I brainstormed for the most outrageous name I could find.  And I came up with Spak Lord.  Now Diablo won't let you have a space in your name, so I became Spak_Lord.  Later on in my online career, I found a group called the Souls of Chaos, or SoC.  I really thought it was cool, so I signed up.  Well, to make a LONG story short, they let me in.  So now you know the story of my name, Spak_Lord~SoC~.

Now I'm sure you are wondering, "Yes, but what is he REALLY???".  Well, my Real Life name is Jonathan Shields.  I am 15 years of age, and I am a freshman at William Christman High School in Independence Missouri.  My first experience with video games was an old Atari computer my dad brought home from work.  I would play that thing like there was no tomorrow!  Well, all eras must come to an end.  When my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor, he had to stay home from work, and the computer left.  It just so happened though, that a few good friends of our family loaned us their Nintendo 8-bit system.  I loved that system, and played it even more than the Atari!  My first games were Castlevania (still a favorite), Mario Bros, and Blaster Master.  I found my true calling as a console master when I beat blaster master, one of the hardest games on the Nintendo system (IMO).  On that day, I was crowned the king of video games (really, I was.  My fam thought it was a big deal =), and my brother and sisters started coming to me to get help =).  I really wore out that nintendo.  I played it in ALL of my free time, untill one christmas, when we got a Sega.  Well, I didn't buy as many games for that system, but I rented one EVERY FRIDAY for about 2 years.  It was a weekend tradition.  Well, eventually, we got an IBM 486/DX PC, just to stay ahead of the times.  That was when I was first exposed to the internet.  I was facinated, and would wait hours, just for pages to load on our 14.4 modem.  Then, after about 3 years, we got a new computer.  This one actually had a 33.6 modem, and I WAS IN HEAVEN!!  I could actually participate in realtime chat!  I could download demos of games!  Well, I was hooked then.  It was just a matter of time before my consoles became obsolete, and the computer reigned all.  My first beta game was Tanarus.  In fact, Tanarus was my first MPOG.  Now see, the computer we had gotten wasn't cool enough to run games like tanarus, and I was heartbroken.  BUT, after 4 years of being alone with me and my sister, my mom actually found another man.  She got married, and as one of his first acts as dad, he bought me a P166 MMX 32mbRAM Toshiba Infinia.  I couldn't belive it!  I could do anything!  Well, I found all kinds of beta games, and played them all, and astonishing enough, became bored with them all.   There just weren't enough free games for me.  So I just pitzed around in them, untill I got the notion to make a webpage.  I started a Geocities, and there is a link there to prove it.  I then moved to Tripod, and to tell you the truth, I don't know where this will be.  So now I am here.  My website has gone through a long period of change, but I think I can truthfully say that I like it best now.

I would write more, but my fingers are tired, and I think this is plenty.
